ELEPHANTA BEACH
Overview
Elephant Beach is an ideal destination for water sports and for leisure tour. This beach is very famous for the variety of untouched corals and rich marine life with diverse species. The coral reefs of this beach start about a meter or two. A little deep into the sea you can spot vibrant corals and schools of colourful fish swimming around elegantly, must admit it is an amazing view
First, take a ferry or boat from Port Blair, you can take another ferry from Havelock Dock, and you will reach the beach in around 20 minutes. You can also take a walk (tracking) of around 30-40 minutes from Havelock Island to reach Elephant Beach.The boat ride starts at Havelock Island jetty and the trekking point starts close to the Radhanagar beach.
Boat ticket cost for Elephanta Beach is 1000 INR Per Person which include to and fro ride and complementary Snorkelling for 5 to 10 min.
Boat will take around 30 minute to reach Elephanta Beach.
