Overview

Ross Island is one of the smallest islands of Andaman & Nicobar. The Ross Island is now renamed as the “Netaji Shubash Chandra Bose Deep” by prime minister Narendra Modi in 2018.Basically this island was residential area for the British officers who served in the cellular jail. The Island is just a 5 km away from Port Blair and can be accessed by boats from the Water Sports Complex. It’s good place to spend time. Electric vehicles are available to take around. You can find deers and peacocks.

The island can only be reached by taking a boat or ferry from the Water Sports Complex. It take15 minutesboat ride from the water sports complex.
